Best dang Italian restaurant this side of Italy! Not cheap...a little bit on the pricey side, but oh so worth it in the end. Amazing quality and flavor to their pizzas, mind blowing scratch-made, in-house pastas and my husband is in love with their veal combination dinners at present . Always buy their pasta for sale when I'm there because it's something you just can't get anywhere else! Our favorite place to go!!
I had never been to this Restaurant before. It’s a little farther out on Major Rd(Newberry Rd), easy to get to! We called ahead, reservation was at 7AM. This was the perfect place. We laughed, cried and reminisced. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. Our server, Ezra, was wonderful. We would highly recommend O Sole Mio.

Wow. What a surprise this place was. We ordered a California salad and ask for it split onto two and as you can see it's huge and filled with great fresh ingredients. The family size Calzone was amazing too! Sorry ..it was so big I forgot to take a picture before it was cut up! Returned for more a couple later.. We had Jimmy as our server on the second trip and he is spot on! Just great food!!
I was very satisfied with all the food. My hubby thought the calamari was a little chewy. Excellent wait service. The Italian music playing in the background was an excellent touch. The whole dining experience was fabulous and would definitely recommend coming to eat here.
What a wonderful little gem! The servers were all attentive, kind and courteous, Ben in particular. Even with a busy rush of dinner, food came out quickly. The food quality is incomparable to other places in the area, and the restaurant is very accommodating to reasonable plate modifications. Well worth the price and the drive! A location in downtown Gainesville would thrive.
